A super-simple app to track your walks and runs. It tracks your: Distance, Time, and Pace for each workout. Thats it!
I created this app for my wife who was baffled by the complex apps that are available this kind of thing. They all have dozens of features she has no interest in but still has to wade through and/or ads to try to click around. But she just wants to know how far and fast her walks or runs go.
Although the app is simple, Ive brought to bear the experience of 30+ years as a software engineer to this app. Ive tried to make it as robust, fault-tolerent, and rock-solid as I reasonably could.
(e.g., take any similar app and let it run out of power during your workout or simulate this by force-rebooting -- and look at what you end up with. With some other apps -- even Apples very nice Workouts app for Apple Watch -- youll end up with little to nothing. With J-Walker, youll have your workout tracked up to the second your phone died.)
Also, all your data stays on your phone.
Theres no data harvesting going on here, no advertisers, no "partners", no switcheroo.
Theres one screen to review workout history or start a workout.
And another to show your progress during a workout.
Simple.
